Located near Warsak Road, one of the main roads leading into Peshawar city, this project is expected to provide over 250 homes for households on low incomes, along with over 300 serviced plots on which people can construct their own homes. These serviced plots are sold at market rates to higher-income households, enabling costs for constructed homes to be kept low. The project serves families with an average monthly household income of USD 280 per month, focused particularly on manual labourers and informal workers.
These households were able to purchase the new homes using loans, financed from an AMC cash plan. These micro finance loans were designed to provide end user finance to those unable to access mortgage products from formal banking institutions
Clients estimated to sit between 31st and 40th percentiles of incomes in Peshawar
