Serving members of San Jose Boundary Balutakay Neighborhood Association Inc (SJBBNAI) this project aimed to build and complete 14 units as part of an incremental housing and upgrading project. Through the collective savings of its 30 members, SJBBNAI had successfully acquired a loan from a large commercial bank (United Coconut Planters Bank) to buy a plot of land in 2005. Paid through regular instalments, SJBBNAI finalised its repayment of the loan in 2008, and were able to start a progressive community upgrading effort in partnership with Reall and PACSII.

Located in Purok Malipayon, Digos City, the project sits within a built up, residential zone with existing electrical and water connections. Land filling was required for four of the plots to prevent the units flooding during monsoon season. In the first batch of houses, 11 core units were constructed and a further three received housing improvement loans.
